Strong Design.
We design, engineer and manufacture the steel components of our shade structures from certified high grade ASTM A500 and ASTM A513 structural steel. All shop welding is done and inspected in our own manufacturing facility in San Antonio, Texas, USA by experienced, certified Master Welders in accordance with the latest specifications of the American Welding Society. We use galvanized or stainless steel 7x19 aircraft cable and connections with a minimum tensile strength of 6,000 pounds.
What does this mean for you? It means you don't have to worry about your SouthernShade Solutions structure whenever the wind kicks up. Our structures are engineered and manufactured to survive minimum loads equal to a 90 mph wind with the canopy material in place.
Beautiful Design.
We offer a variety of designs in standard and custom sizes to ensure you get a canopy that meets your needs perfectly. Our metal components are available in three standard colors - brown, tan, and black - or we can provide a custom color. The fabric canopy is also available in a variety of standard colors {link to color chart for materials} or a custom color at your option. We also give you a choice of paint finishes - powder coating or the renown DuPont Imron™ Epoxy paint system.
Finally, we employ only galvanized or stainless steel aircraft cable and connections for that extra clean look and superior resistance to rust.
Informed Design.
Some cities or areas have building codes that require building permits for larger shade structure projects. Don't let that worry you - every SouthernShade Solutions distributor is knowledgeable and experienced, and knows their areas of service well. If permits are needed, they can help walk you through the process and provide you with whatever specifications you need to address the engineering and design of your project.
Guaranteed.
We believe in the quality of our products, and confidently offer a warranty on everything we do.
